2025 Schalles PA Pinner Award Winners Named

Jael Miller, the Female Award Winner

Luke Fugazzotto (172) of Northwestern Lehigh High School tied for the best pin percentage with 38 pins for 51 bouts. Luke is a junior with a 127-21 career record who placed 2nd and 7th in the PIAA tournament.

Shep Turk (285) from Thomas Jefferson HS tied for Best Pin Percentage, earning 38 pins in 51 matches wrestled. Turk will attend Pitt for football as an offensive lineman.

Jael Miller (170) of Punxsutawney HS earned 30 pins for 31 bouts to win the Wade Schalles PA Pinner Award Presented by PWN and Sponsored by Pittsburgh Trophy Co. Miller was a 2x PIAA State champ and a non-PIAA champ and runner-up. She has a career record of 70-1. She will wrestle for North Central Illinois next year.
