HERSHEY – It is a battle between East and West inside the GIANT Center as District 3 went (0-3) on Day 1 of the 2018 PIAA State Dual Team Tournament while District 11 and District 7 have a combined five schools in the Quarterfinals. #5 Canon-McMillan reversed a defeat to #10 Council Rock South a year ago to win (36-24). The biggest surprise came when District 2 Champion #23 Delaware Valley dismantled #11 Cumberland Valley by a (45-22) score. #2 Cathedral Prep and #3 Kiski Area each had no issues reaching the Quarters while #4 Nazareth and #1 Bethlehem Catholic each had convincing wins. In the closest dual of the evening #21 Spring-Ford came out on top (39-29) over District 3 Champion Cedar Cliff.
