2016 Season Officially Kicks-Off This Weekend
Wrestling fans – the wait is over! The 2015 – 2016 Season will begin for majority of PA high school programs this weekend. Below is a look at all the events taking place this weekend across Pennsylvania.

Cumberland Valley Wrestling Kickoff Classic serves as early barometer for 2015-16 season
How do you measure the importance, impact and prestige of an opening season wrestling tournament?
Well, it’s a three-month process.
Take the annual Cumberland Valley Kickoff Classic for instance. Some of those finals matchups witnessed in the first weekend of December turned out to be a terrific foreshadow for not only the individual postseason in March, but also the team postseason in late January and early February.
The 2015 version, which runs Friday and Saturday, at the CV Dome should be no exception. The wrestling begins on Friday at 4 p.m. and will continue into the evening with quarterfinals and consolations. Saturday’s action resumes at 10 a.m. with semifinals, more consolations and the championship finals going off in the late afternoon.
