Peppelman to Virginia Plus More Off-Season College Commitments
2012 State Champion and 2013 State Runner-up Garrett Peppelman recently committed to continue his wrestling and academic career at Virginia. Peppelman’s career at Central Dauphin has gone much like his older brothers before him. The youngest of four Peppelman brothers will entire his final season with a career record of (139-14) including a fifth place PIAA State medal his freshman year, a PIAA State Championship in his sophomore season and was a PIAA State Runner-up as a junior. Peppelman fell in the 160 lbs. PIAA Class AAA State finals to Chance Marsteller in a battle of two State Champions. Peppelman predicts to compete at 165 lbs. for the University of Virginia.
Also making a commitment is 2x PIAA State Runner-up T.C. Warner of Cumberland Valley. Warner will join older brother Tristian Warner at Old Dominion where he predicts to compete at the 157 lbs./165 lbs. range. In the last two seasons Warner has finished as the runner-up at the PIAA State Tournament falling both times to Chambersburg Garret Hammond. Warner is a tough-nosed wrestler who will be looking for his first career PIAA State Championship in 2014 as he enter with a career record of (113-16).
