Pennsylvania Pushes 19 Wrestlers Into The NCAA Quarterfinals; 37 Total Still Alive

Pittsburgh, PA – Day 1 of the 2019 NCAA National Tournament started with 52 Pennsylvania wrestlers who took the mats. After two rounds of competition Pennsylvania pushed 19 wrestlers into the Championship Quarterfinals on Friday in Pittsburgh and still have 37 wrestlers alive in the consolation round. Only 15 Pennsylvanians were eliminated after Day 1.
